“It has made me better loving you ...
it has made me wiser, and easier, and brighter.”
—Henry James, The Portrait of a Lady
Meet Louis & Richard
Last week they tied the knot in Mt. Holly, New Jersey and it was the perfect day: simple and sweet with not a cloud in sight. It started at the Burlington County Lyceum of History and Natural Sciences where they exchanged vows under the most beautiful chandelier, shed tears of happiness, and had their first kiss as husband and husband.
It was finally official after years of dating and being entwined in each other's lives they were able to fulfill a dream that neither one of them thought possible.
After the ceremony, they headed to the Washington Crossing Historic Park to the bench where the idea of marriage was proposed. They opened champagne and strolled through the woods as they basked in the newlywed glow.
With Louis' eye and attention to detail, everything was right on point - the champagne flutes were the right color to match their boutonnieres, which had a hint of rose gold and were finished with white pearls. They wrapped up this part of the day with a clink of glasses and a toss of the boutonnieres. Wishing them many years of laughter, love and happiness.
One More Thing...
As one of the two witnesses to the ceremony and their special day, I was truly moved by Louis & Richard's love and compassion for each other. And just a small reminder that MRCreativeCo supports all couples regardless of race and/or gender. #loveislove
