FINALLY!!!
The longest awaited wedding celebration of the year finally took place on June 25, 2022, and it couldn’t have been any sweeter. I met Alex & Adam almost 3 years ago and since then a wedding has been in the works. After they got engaged in 2019, the planning commenced; however, between COVID and venue mishaps, the wedding was postponed time and time again. But this did not stop the happy couple, as they eloped in Hawaii in May 2021!
Despite being married they still wanted to celebrate and share their special day with all their family and friends. And after years of waiting, they finally got the wedding day they deserved.
While the ladies started the day with hair and makeup paired with mimosas, the men celebrated with custom groomsmen cocktails and games to pass the time. Once all glammed, the bridal party and family headed over to the Pardee Seawall for one of the most stunning views of the Sound that Connecticut has to offer. Although it was hot outside, everyone looked stunning all dressed up as many cars driving by were honking and cheering ‘Congratulations!’
Next up, everyone headed to the venue for a small ceremony where their guests were able to watch the bridal party proceed down the aisle. Alex’s parents welcomed everyone to toast to their beautiful union and officially start the party!
The guests indulged in the copious amounts of food and cocktails under a waterfront sunset while Alex and Adam’s pure joy radiated from ear to ear. With a live band singing, an energetic Hora started to celebrate the couple and the union of their families. This wedding celebration had no shortage of dance moves all night long! In fact, the evening ended with the bride crowd surfing over her guests as she soaked up every moment of amazing-ness that was their wedding day. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day to finally have everyone celebrate Alex and Adam! Wishing the happy couple many years of love, joy and laughter.
